China In October 2001, Kendra, Amy and I visited Hong Kong and mainland
China.
Special mention goes to Hong Kong's Star Ferry, the small buddhist temple, the fish market and the incredible dim sums. Shanghai budding architecture will rival the Chicago of the 30s. This place is at the avant-garde of modern structures. The Peace Hotel remains a great home base for the nostalgics. |
