Dr. Sum Lee and Dr. Michael Kimmey had an ambitious goal: to create a simple tool that would guide primary care providers through the diagnostic, therapeutic principles and referral guidelines for the 10 most common symptoms in gastroenterology and hepatology. They called on Cecile to research market needs and internet trends and draft the business plan. Cecile played an active role in securing funding and later managed the production of the application through its launch in June 2000. This peer-reviewed project combines the works of over 40 gastroenterologists, general practitioners, surgeons and field experts.
